Children’s Support Worker – North West (OFSTED-Registered Service)

We’re currently recruiting Children’s Support Workers across the North West to join our OFSTED-registered residential services. These are permanent positions offering guaranteed hours, competitive rates of pay, and additional sleep-in payments.

🧒 About the Role:

As a Children’s Support Worker, you’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team providing high-quality care in a warm, nurturing, and safe environment that meets OFSTED standards.

You’ll work closely with children and young people who may have experienced trauma, emotional or behavioural difficulties, or complex needs — helping them build independence, resilience, and brighter futures.


🔑 Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with daily routines, emotional wellbeing, and practical tasks

  • Promoting positive behaviours and helping to build essential life skills

  • Contributing to care plans, risk assessments, and day-to-day documentation

  • Providing a consistent, therapeutic approach aligned with OFSTED requirements

  • Working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins


✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people (residential care preferred)

  • A caring, resilient, and reliable approach to supporting vulnerable young people

  • Willingness to work flexibly as part of a rota

  • A full UK driving licence is desirable

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 of 4 in Children and Young People) are an advantage – or willingness to work towards one
