🏠 About the Role:

As Registered Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it meets OFSTED standards, supports the development of young people, and fosters a positive, therapeutic, and safe environment.

You’ll lead your team with confidence, compassion, and structure—promoting staff development while maintaining a child-centred culture that puts the needs of the young people first.


🔑 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, inspire, and manage a residential team to provide high-quality care

  • Ensure the home meets and exceeds OFSTED regulations and standards

  • Develop care plans, risk assessments, and individualised support packages

  • Oversee budgets, staffing, recruitment, and training

  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure positive outcomes for young people

  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with safeguarding and compliance


✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 5 in Children and Young People (or equilivent) – or working towards

  • Previous experience in a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager role in a children’s home

  • Strong working knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards

  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain a high-performing staff team

  • A child-focused, trauma-informed, and therapeutic approach to care

  • A full UK driving licence
