🏠 About the Role:
As Registered Manager, you’ll have overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring it meets OFSTED standards, supports the development of young people, and fosters a positive, therapeutic, and safe environment.
You’ll lead your team with confidence, compassion, and structure—promoting staff development while maintaining a child-centred culture that puts the needs of the young people first.
🔑 Key Responsibilities:
Lead, inspire, and manage a residential team to provide high-quality care
Ensure the home meets and exceeds OFSTED regulations and standards
Develop care plans, risk assessments, and individualised support packages
Oversee budgets, staffing, recruitment, and training
Drive continuous improvement and ensure positive outcomes for young people
Maintain accurate records and reports in line with safeguarding and compliance
✅ What We’re Looking For:
NVQ Level 5 in Children and Young People (or equilivent) – or working towards
Previous experience in a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager role in a children’s home
Strong working knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain a high-performing staff team
A child-focused, trauma-informed, and therapeutic approach to care
A full UK driving licence
